bio vision
Measure in order to act
All human activities have an impact on the environment. To meet the demands of society, it has become strategically important to reduce these impacts. To achieve this, they have to be identified and evaluated as early as possible in the decision-making process.
Faced with issues that are often passionate and emotional, we like to provide objective and grounded answers, create instruments for managing and making decisions, and build adhesion.
Thus, our core profession is measuring the environmental impacts of both products and services, and policies and decisions.
This is because, if we are to act effectively, the primary requirement is for useful information that demonstrates that the issues are being taken into account, responsibilities shared, risks calculated and that decisions are justified.
And all the while, creating links between the various players: companies, public bodies, researchers, associations, NGOs, local authorities, etc. This multiple vision of the players involved is one of the core features of our DNA, and it is the illustration of our vision of BIO’s role at the interface of the four categories of key players, namely: politicians, companies, scientists and consumers/citizens.
This structure consistently appears in our client portfolio: 50% are public institutions including the European Commission, the European Parliament, ministries, environmental agencies, local authorities, etc.; and 50% are private bodies from SMEs to Blue Chips.
bio attitude
BIO – the added value choice
BIO Intelligence Service positions itself as an alternative player on the environment and sustainable development consultancy market, by guaranteeing a very high level of added value in each and every one of its assignments, and by designing original solutions adapted to the specific needs of each client.
Thanks to a unique position, characterised by a portfolio of clients that is well distributed between public and private bodies:
- we contribute to the drawing-up of public policies on the environment by sharing our experiences from the business world;
- we provide companies with an insight into the directions, measures and political instruments that are under consideration
BIO, a distinctive choice
We are proud of our uniqueness, based on the talent, passion and cultural diversity of our team of 75 consultants, representing 20 nationalities and rich in multi-disciplinary skills. Our team includes scientists, ecologists, engineers, economists and marketing and communications consultants and the synergy between them allows us to provide pertinent and operational responses for our clients.
The R&D culture at BIO is another of our distinctive characteristics, setting us apart from other sustainable development consultancies: more than 50% of our resources are dedicated to innovative, risky activities with a high social impact.
Lastly, for our clients and partners, BIO is synonymous with quality, ethics, dedication and efficiency.
BIO, the responsible choice
At BIO, we are naturally committed to respecting the best practices we recommend. The company is constantly seeking to go further in its efforts, in harmony with the values of sustainable development. To find out more:
bio history
BIO Intelligence Service is above all a story of vision and commitment.
Since 1989, start-ups in a state of perpetual reinvention have largely contributed to the construction of the environmental sector and the dissemination of the principles of sustainable development in France and Europe, by positioning themselves at the forefront of the key efforts of each period.
Thus in the space of 20 years, BIO has become a leading player in the area of environmental studies and consulting, working for public and private clients at the cutting edge of environmental questions.
As for the future of BIO, which is firmly innovative in culture with an entrepreneurial spirit, the company is constantly growing in line with the new challenges that we meet with our clients.
