Providing support with environmental labelling

This site is dedicated to the environmental labelling of fast moving consumer goods and services (FMCG) in France and throughout the world. The growing interest in environmental protection means consumers are now keen to have criteria other than price to take into consideration when making a purchase.

In France, this trend also inspired a political initiative to examine the merits of generalised environmental labelling for FMCGs. As a result, in October 2007 the Grenelle de l’environment (The Grenelle Environment Forum) set an objective of informing consumers about the environmental impact of FMCGs and educating them about sustainable and responsible consumption practices.
